About Us

Yashoda Foundation is the social initiative of Yashoda Group of Hospitals. With an idea to start an orphanage home, the Board of Directors of Yashoda Group visited several orphanage homes in Hyderabad. The Board identified problems common to all orphans, the dire need for employability skills and job opportunities once the orphans leave the orphanages after 10th std. With this being imperative, Yashoda Foundation was established in 2011 to create opportunities to the orphans, underprivileged children and youth who need support.

Yashoda Foundation is dedicated to encourage and engage orphans, underprivileged and deprived individuals by giving proper counseling sessions, imparting education and life skills required to lead a proper life and get a decent livelihood. The Foundation has set a detailed structure that provides a positive and practical outlook, essential education and hands-on experience to empower orphan children to succeed, by helping them help themselves. Yashoda Foundation became a vibrant and recognized social service-oriented entity by launching four social and skill development programs.

ABHAYA, the Employment Linked Skill Development Training Program for orphan youth; AKSHARA, to support initiatives which aim at enhancing the academic performance of Orphan Children through various Tuition Support Programs; VARADHI, the Advocacy Program and Facilitation Center for Orphan Rights and Issues; and MAA KUTUMBUM, to create organic linkages by building bonds among ABHAYA candidates in order to bring them into the fold of Yashoda family.
